MEET SHANI
Shani Carter’s journey has been everything but linear. She has 20 years of experience as a multifaceted entrepreneur, certified mindfulness instructor, marketer, collegiate lecturer, travel advisor and is a Senior Lead of Creative Production Management at Amazon. Her resourceful, dynamic and polished persona has transformed countless entertainment, creative and tech spaces. Shani proudly assists media companies, creative agencies, small businesses, music labels and entrepreneurs in dominating their marketing strategies and leading full spectrum creative projects. She has worked with many leading brands, including Amazon MGM Studios, Showtime Networks, Def Jam Recordings, Okayplayer, NBC Sports, and Uniqlo, to name a few.
Through prioritizing her own healing and wellness, Shani has been led to advocate the importance of mental health and wellbeing within her community. She teaches the power of self-love and mindfulness in our everyday lives through pauses, intentional breathing and deeper introspection. LOVE LETTERS and STORIES BY SHANI is an ongoing writing series that promotes self-care, authenticity and creating a life that you love.
Shani graduated from the esteemed HBCU Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a Masters in Business Administration. She earned her Mindfulness Instructor Certification from MNDFL’s wisdom rooted, evidence based, and expert designed training program. Shani is a proud alum of the T-Howard Foundation, where she now enjoys mentoring other up and coming marketers, entrepreneurs and creatives.
In 2026, Shani began travel advising to bring clients seamless planning assistance and promote accountability to follow through on their wildest travel dreams. She documents her own travels with SACRED EXPERIENCES BY SHANI.
Shani is not only defined by her career accomplishments. She is a devoted and conscious mother, sister, manifester, spiritual warrior and world explorer. Her personal motto"Nothing is perfect. Everything is beautiful" reminds her to find joy and gratitude in all corners of life and help others do the same.
